Candidates must demonstrate maturity, have strong decision-making skills, and have a willingness to work hard while developing good relationships with neighborhood patrons and swimmers.

Our lifeguards understand how important their job is, and take that responsibility very seriously while becoming part of the neighborhood they work in, and look forward to increasing responsibility as they gain experience.
Swim Lesson Instructors
The ideal candidate must be very comfortable with all levels of swimmers, understand how to make young swimmers feel safe, can help more experienced swimmers learn all four strokes, are patient and positive. Many of our lesson groups have a second or third instructor to ensure group sizes remain small. This instructor has a strong swimming background and is eager to pass along their knowledge while supporting the lead instructor.
Swim Team Coaches
Our swim coaches understand fundamental stroke technique, easily work with young swimmers, teaching, motivating, and cheerleading. Our Head Coaches are organized, have developed appropriate workouts for swimmers of many ability levels, and are comfortable in charge of the team. Head Coaches understand how to motivate swimmers for the short season, teach drills to enhance stroke technique.
Assistant Coaches support the head coach, understand stroke technique, and love being around young swimmers. All A&B coaches are excellent communicators and are comfortable talking with swimmers and parents.
