We are confident our lifeguard staff is one-of-a-kind: attentive, conscientious, respectful, friendly, dedicated to helping the client, and they work hard to get to know families and children in the neighborhood.
A strength of our service is our ability to hire excellent lifeguards and to train and supervise them. Members of our Senior Management have 20 years or more involvement with the swimming community in northern Colorado which has allowed us to get to know Northern Colorado coaches and their swimmers. Our senior staff includes former high school and club coaches and Red Cross trainers.
Because the guards see the management team at the pool often, they always know what is expected, and they know we will be there to support them, and ensure they have what they need to work effectively. Ongoing training is important and our experience helps make that training meaningful. Guards like to work for A&B because responsibilities are clear, accountability is fair, and we pay the most. We have high expectations; our guards work hard, with many chores in addition to lifeguarding and we demonstrate our appreciation with the highest pay schedule in northern Colorado.
Because of our staff’s loyalty to A&B and our high pay scale, we have guards on staff as long as 7 years.
